VIRGINIA!

4.30.2013 Williamsburg, VA. USA

I had the opportunity to go to Williamsburg, Virginia with my friend Emily and her family for vacation! Everyday was so amazing, and we were able to see so much. One of my favorite experiences about this trip was flying. It was my first time on a plane, and I loved it. I was super nervous about it because I have always been afraid of heights. But I actually loved it. Believe it or not take off was my favorite part, because it was so cool being able to watch how everything on land became smaller and smaller the higher we went. Plus being above the clouds was absolutely breath taking! We went to see Monticello, Mount Vernon, Colonial Williamsburg, and Jamestown! I took so many pictures and learned so much, that I will break up my posts on the different places, I went to see. :) Here are some photos of me and my friend Emily on the plane.

of course we had to have our favorite for breakfast :)

and McDonald's without coffee? I think not

and of course airports are always fun, especially LAX

How to Support my Blog

4.18.2013

I know a lot of people don't know how to follow // support a blogger blog, so here all the steps to following it!

Why would someone want to support a blog? When supporting a blog, it helps that blog become more popular. When you really enjoy reading that persons blog, by following it allows you to go to that blog faster than googling it.

What does supporting a blog, really mean? Supporting a blog means you are basically showing publicly that you like that blog. An example: on Facebook when you find a certain page you enjoy, you will "like" that page, so you can always go back to it, or see it through your home feed. Well the same goes for a blog. When you "follow" a blog you are basically "liking it."

What do you have to have in order to support someone's blog? In order to follow someone's blog (this is only for a blogger blog) you must have a twitter, yahoo, or gmail account.

Down below are a few steps to following my blog, with using a gmail account! :)

here i am showing you how to follow my blog using a gmail account but feel free to use any account you have, so click on the "google" where the arrow is pointing! Then your next step is this...

then once you've put in your information, you click "sign in" then complete the next step...

so click on "follow this blog" when the arrow is pointing. then the last step is....

then click "done" where is arrow is pointing and then your all set, and now able to follow my blog :)

Five Tips to Increase your Beauty // True Beauty Series

4.13.2013

Here are five tips to looking BEAUTIFUL!

1. For lovely eyes: always look at the good side of other people. ( Philippians 2:4 states; "not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.")

2. For tender lips: speak only kind words to each other. ( Colossians 4:6 states; "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.")

3. For a charming face: always smile with a happy heart. (Proverbs 15:13 states; "A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.")

4. For graceful arms: reach out with compassion to those in need (Colossians 3:12 states; "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.")

5. For beautiful feet: always walk with God (Genesis 6:9 states; "This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.")

Having trouble figuring out what to write about? Out of new fresh ideas? Well your in luck because here are some tips for new blogging post ideas! Hope this is helpful. Feel free to comment below if you have any questions // topics you would like me to write on!

What to write about? Write about things that made your week special. Any type of DIY projects, blog about them. Any new recipes you make, blog them. Create fashion posts. Blog about your personal life, what might be on your heart. Post some favorite quotes, verses, or even photos. Write on bible studies. Anything exciting that happens, blog about it.

How often should you post? If you can post three or four times a week...it keeps your readers interested. Though this can be challenging, mostly because it takes up a lot of time trying to put together a new post. Be careful though because posting everyday can sometimes be very overwhelming for certain readers. If you can not put a lot of time into your blog, posting at least twice a week you can still gather many new readers // supporters.

Should you post photos? Posting photos make your blog come alive. It makes it personal...and yet very exciting for others to see // explore. Though too many photos can become overwhelming. More than ten photos can just be too much. But always remember photos add a unique and lovely touch to any blog!

Beauty on the Outside // True Beauty Series

4.10.2013

Beauty isn't only from the inside, but also the out. The way girls dress, do their hair, or put on their make up is sometimes enough to tell what kind of person she is. Beauty on the outside = modesty. Modesty is the key to a beautiful glow. 1 Timothy 2:9-10 states "I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God." Now is it wrong to wear jewelry, make up, dresses, or wear different hair styles? No. It is important to feel BEAUTIFUL, and feel comfortable with your looks, and body. But when it becomes inappropriate that's when it becomes a problem. So however you dress it should be pleasing to God. Sometimes, I can love a certain style, but also know it is way too short, or just inappropriate. So whenever I am trying on clothes, I ask myself "Is this pleasing to God?" "Would I be able to wear this in front of God?" At the end of the day I should not focus on how many compliments I got on my new shirt, but rather what kind of impact it had on others. The way I dress, should show other people who I am, or what I stand for. When I walk past someone I want them to think "Wow she looks, and acts to different then all the rest of your typical teenager girls who dress for attention." I want to encourage you to enhance your outer beauty by giving a modest appearance, that would please God!!

Beauty on the Inside // True Beauty Series

4.08.2013

I believe beauty on the inside is the most important to looking beautiful. What is beauty if your heart is not pure? If someone is mean, speaks hurtful words, or treats you unkindly, would you say that person is beautiful on the inside? No, you would not think that at all. Maybe you know someone who is absolutely gorgeous but is unkind to everyone around, would you think that person is truly beautiful? No, you wouldn't. Beauty on the inside is having a kind heart, speaking nice words, having a servants heart, bringing cheer to others, and being forgiving. What can possibly be more beautiful than that? Proverbs 3:15 states "She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her." Proverbs 31:10 states "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies." True beauty doesn't always come from the clothes we wear, how we put on our make up, our height, or our weight. True beauty is always wanting to please the Lord. I encourage you to let your INNER BEAUTY shine so everyone can see it!

Welcome // True Beauty Series

4.07.2013

So I decided to start a series called  "True Beauty." I will be sharing with you five different posts, for this new series! This will be a series where girls can come, and learn what true beauty looks like, how to apply true beauty in our every day lives, and how we can look, feel, and act beautiful.

I want you to feel BEAUTIFUL not on how society views you, but how God views you. You are beautiful in his eyes, and my goal for you is to see how beautiful you can be when you follow God. I want to show you that through Him we can find our self worth, not through Face book, our friends, or any other social media network! We are his daughters, and he is our king, and with him by our side our beauty will shine brightly!

I hope you enjoy this series, and I can't wait to post my first topic! :)
